I was wholly inspired to render this illustration after repetitively watching the SKU: Adolescence Mokushiroku movie.

I drew the images directly using a light-tone color pencil, then overlaid the corresponding color shades. Multiple tones are a delight when using colored pencils, and I had quite some fun doing this piece (with the exception of Utena's hair - pink is the least of my favorite colors, not to mention that I had some difficulty with the erasure --- evidence of it can be seen around the area of the right hand.)

Juri gave me little trouble, and she ought to, since she's my favorite character.

Oooh. Very awesome! Juri looks great! So does Utena, really, but Juri stands out. hehe...Utena and Juri are both my favorite characters. I really love the coloring, and you did an awesome job on the sword of Dios. ^^ :+favelove:

Many thanks! *toothy grin* I didn't mean to make Juri stand out; it just came out that way. (-.-)0 If only my rose-shades would come out well on the paper, maybe the effect on Utena would've been the same as Juri's. (T_T) I was quite frustrated with Utena's hair, to tell you the truth. (^.^)0 But still I extend my thanks for appreciating my work. *bows graciously and smiles*

^^ Utena's hair is a pain to draw. Hehe...I feel for ya. Of course, I've never been able to draw Juri's movie hair myself ^^; Something I need practice on.
